Dominance: Neutralizing Attributes

Per last post on a more general note, while I enjoy quick submissions as much as the next guy, what I admire more is how the great players sap strength from the strong and slow down the speedy.

For example, do your guard passes work just as well on extremely flexible players, or better still use such overcompensation against them?

While some adaption is usually necessary, great technique by definition should be relatively utilitarian, otherwise the approach could probably use some re-tooling.
