Suspension is the idea of confirming things in space and moving around them opposed to trying move what you’re connected to.
In guard passing for example, legs are extremely strong! Do you want to force your partner into a leg position conducive to a pass, or slice through, circle, and/or go underneath based on what’s present?
In conclusion, having a favorite pass isn’t Jiu-Jitsu. Jiu-Jitsu is observing where the legs are in relation to the hip-girdle, and passing accordingly.
