As stated before Jiu-Jitsu is logical in as much as it’s based on physical laws and human anatomy.
Still, for Jiu-Jitsu to be artistic, you have to develop your own personal chain of reason and application. You can’t just take and use some one’s positions and words and call it art. Doing so means you’re essentially a beginner in a field with a potential for art.
To slightly contradict myself, sometimes it is beneficial to steal some one’s position or idea initially, but evolving it requires an understanding of the anatomy, context, and purpose of it first. Such conceptual grasping takes time, study, and intentionality.
