Commentary: Royler vs. Eddie Part 1

If Royler wins you have a whole camp of people admonishing the classic, fundamental approach to Jiu-Jitsu, and how lucky Eddie got the first time.

If Eddie wins it’s about Royler’s outdated BJJ against the newer, more modern and refined 10th Planet approach and delusional Gracies.

Alternatively, progression is independent of both views and a result of continual research, experimenting, and mistakes and corrections made through individual and group efforts.

So, a question to be aware of is, are we genuinely setting out to get better, or to prove pre-existing beliefs that may or may not have anything to do with what’s under our noses at any given moment.
