Guard Passing: More On Re-Visiting Combat Base As Defensive Offense

Going more in-depth than previous post, as stated earlier, Combat Base went out of my game for awhile except to defend armlocks and triangles. Currently exploring it again as energy efficient transition to standing staggered stance, as well as a way of covering my hip so I can reach with same side hand (when both knees are on the mat in open guard I cover my hips to block dirty feet with ‘bows, and use body to pummel similar to Greco).
