Journal 1/3/15: Drilling Guard Recovery

Going to work on getting my grips from Guard bottom, possibly even showing the sweep or submission before letting top player go so to practice Guard Recovery next sparring session.

Also, I get owned with the X-Pass more than any other, so that’s the priority as far as warm-up drilling. =)

Finally, if there’s time will break out my old Chris Haueter VHS tapes to study his general movement and escape strategy. Good times!:
