Cross-Sides: One-Armed Swordsman

The next idea for escape reps is letting your training partner have Cross-Sides and tying up either the near-side arm/hand, or getting deep or shallow underhook on far side arm and noticing what is available to both you and the top player.


For clarity I call ‘shallow underhooks’ from Cross-Sides Bottom a reverse grip on the opponents arm when they are cross-blocking your body @ 0:25-0:32:
