Training: Form Vs. Movement Training & Timing

To simplify previous post further you can break down sessions into detail form oriented work, or reps to train movement.

A bonus idea for training movement via reps, is there’s usually an ideal time and energy to do a move, be it a positional transition, guard pass, or submission. Therefore, wait for a bit and imagine the moment happening THEN hit your rep. Yeah, it’s not as good as feeling a good training partner’s feed in real-time, but it’s much better than doing empty minded reps, plus it works the imagination.
