Mind States: Giving versus Need

The less needy you are the more you have to give, as you aren’t focused on yourself.

The problem with neediness is it takes on many forms, skillfully camouflaging and cloaking itself in the ego’s effort to survive.  The trick is (not really a trick) is you can always feel this.

Let go, relax, and enjoy both life and thoughts as they arrive.

Mind States: More Enjoyment, Less Method

One thing I took from the Neville Goddard books listed below, is I’m still a bit of a tight ass when it comes to training and life in general…

Methods are great, but the key is understanding the principle behind the method.  Once you understand the principle you can adapt and customize in a way that is personally joyful and spontaneous.

What’s most important after all, is coming at our passion like a kid with a summer day ahead.  The rest is details!

March 2017 Journal

Crazy month.

Have a ton of hobbies and realized I make myself nuts with them, as any amount of time I take off, I feel a little guilty.  Kinda crazy when the whole object is positive feeling.

So yeah, re-set button; laid low, but did do some of the following… (more than I thought!)

Law of Attraction books:  Haven’t read any new-age books in probably over 10 years, but was interested in subconscious learning and stumbled onto author Neville Goddard and his books on the cheap at Audible.com: ‘Out of This World’ by Neville Goddard; ‘Control Your Inner Conversations’ by Neville Goddard; ‘Feeling is the Secret’ by Neville Goddard; ‘Manefestation Through Relaxation’ by Neville Goddard, Tim Grimes; ‘Relax More, Try Less’ by Neville Goddard, Tim Grimes; ‘The Relaxation Manifesto’ by Tim Grimes.

Other books:  ‘Insane Clown President: Dispatches from the 2016 Circus’ by Matt Taibbi; ‘Providence, Act 1’ by Alan Moore, Jacen Burrows; ‘The Elephant in the Room’ by Jon Ronson;  ‘At the Mountains of Madness’ by H.P. Lovecraft.

Magic/Mentalism:  ‘P.A.T.H.S.’ by Matt Mello; ‘The Decode Project’ by Matt Mello.

Movies/Media:  More Richard Matheson adapted Edgar Allen Poe starring Vincent Price with the ‘The Raven (with young Jack Nicholson), and ‘Pit and the Pendulum.’ ‘Logan’ was a brilliant Hugh Jackman swan song that exceeded all expectations; ‘American Sniper.’

Jiu-Jitsu:  Henry Akins Guard Passing, Cross-Side Escapes, and Leg Work from Open Guard.  Note:  Henry’s understanding of Jiu-Jitsu is so much deeper than mine, I’ve pretty much stopped Jiu-Jitsu blogging and spend time learning from him instead.
